Coaching staff of Russian U 21 team is formed

On December 19 FUR Executive Committee approved a candidacy of Mikhail Galaktionov for a post of head coach of Russian U 21 team. The specialist has formed the coaching staff, which started working with the team since January 2019.

-We’ve made decisions on the following candidates. Oleg Levin is approved as head coach assistant, Mikhail Polishkis - analytics coach. Both of them already have an experience in teams and know our requirements very well. A famous in the past goalkeeper Vladimir Pchelnikov, who will stay in FC Spartak system as well, will train goalkeepers. We have engaged Kirill Zhinkin, a practicing specialist from FNL club Chertanovo, as physical training coach, - Mikhail Galaktionov told.

Doctor Konstantin Modenov, massage therapists Yury Semenyutin and Sergey Gorshkov, administrators Eduard Shubin and Roman Zaikin and videographer Vladimir Savchenko will form the team as well.

In March and June 2019 the team will hold training camps and control matches. Start qualifying matches of UEFA EURO 2021 will take place in fall already - September 6 at home against Serbia and September 10 - away against Bulgaria.
